Time Trials is the category that allows everyone to participate, depending on your experience level and depending if your car qualifies.
Here is a brief description of the levels. Detailed information is available

New to SCCA? PDX (Performance Driving Experience) is Level 1 -- and can be a street car with 3-point seatbelt harness and a helmet for the driver. This category allows any licensed driver to get a taste of what SCCA is all about.
Level 2 is Club Trials - which allows drivers to go around the course as a group.
Level 3 is Track Trials - a timed event taking place on approved closed circuits such as the Jefferson Circuit at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia.
Level 4 is Hillclimbs - Timed events on a closed public road with a pronounced elevation change such as Pagoda and Duryea Hillclimbs in Reading, PA.

BMR is responsible for the Reading hillclimbs. Our next event is Duryea Hillclimb August 16-17 2008. Setup for this event begins on August 9 at 8:30 am. We meet at Turn Two to put up snow fence (for crowd control) etc. WE NEED HELP! Plese come out and lend a hand. It won't take more than a couple hours if we get enough help, and it really is kinda fun! The following week, on Friday August 15, we do the remaining setup work, putting down timing and communications wire, etc. Again, WE NEED HELP!! Meet at Turn Two at 8:30 am. Figure on a couple hours to get the work done if we have enough help.
We are looking for additional sponship for the Saturday night party at Shearers Grove. You can become a "Supporting Sponsor" for only $100!
