Spectators: Public Parking is in City Park, adjacent to the Starting Line. Admission is by voluntary donation to Pagoda-Skyline, Inc. Racing starts each day about 9:30am and continues until about 4pm. A shuttle bus will be operating both days, taking spectators up and down the hill, with stops along the way. Ridership is by voluntary donation which benefits the Pagoda Flagpole Fund.
Motel Rooms: BarryZ (our BMR Publicity Dir. for 2009) has setup a special room rate of $69.00 ($74 with tax) per night - for either one night or two nights at America's Best Value Inn, 2545 N. 5th St Hwy, Reading PA 19605. Make your Reservations directly with the motel at 610-929-4741 and mention the keyword HILLCLIMB.
Friday Night 8/21/09 Registration and tech at Fire Tower begins at 5pm. Free hot dogs!
Saturday: Corner Worker training at 7:30 AM at the Fire Tower. Racing begins approx 9 AM.
Saturday Night Party at Egelman's Park (free for competitors workers and officials. Extra tickets $10 each) An auction benefiting Pagoda-Skyline, Inc will be held after dinner. Please try to contribute by donating something for the auction or by bidding with enthuisiasm!
Sunday: Corner Worker training at 7:30 AM at the Fire Tower. Racing begins approx 9 AM.
The Hillclimb starts at the bottom of Duryea Drive, Reading PA.
